Graduating with a MA in sculpture the use of threadwork has always be apparent in the work she has made including that of huge hair sculptures in her earlier work. In family album though Anzeri has taken photographs carefully stitching over them leaving the eyes and mouth fully visible, the result is a somewhat disturbing and beautiful image.
