If i lived in LA i would be going to this the 2009 Vice Magazine Photography Exhibition check out the video and some of the pics above from the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis Taete, Maggie Lee and Tim Barber. Vice magazine has some great photographers and this is a great chance to see some of the work from them.

The familiar name of Aaron Ruell is probably from his acting career in which to date has included playing kip in Napoleon Dynamite as well as creating the opening title sequence. Jake Michaels turns his camera to 7-11's in this series of photographs, taking each one at night he builds a set of images that isolate these strange brightly lit buildings making them more magical than perhaps they are in real life.
