Masahisa Fukase

Masahisa Fukase's obsession with ravens has spanned a lifetime and has lead to his obsession of capturing them on film. The ravens he captures a worldwide sign of a morbid darker time his images take on this persona. Other images have seen Masahisa Fukase focus on his family and friends see more of the work at: http://www.wirtzgallery.com/exhibitions/2001/exhibitions_2001_06/exhibitions_mf_2001_06.html

petros chrisostomou

Petros Chrisostomou plays with the idea of scale and sculpture in his work using the camera to capture his alice in wonderland like structures which he places in everyday rooms. Using items from pieces of hair to pennies we are whisked down the rabbit hole almost where everything is not to scale and seems to want to burst out of its surroundings. Rineke Dijkstra

Continuing what seems to be an ongoing theme with many photographers working today Dijkstra photographs adolescent teens. Photographing them at the beach with swimsuits and bathing costumes on, Dijkstra manages to capture the uncomfortable, awkward poses of those still not comfortable with their bodies as they struggle to find the good of puberty.
